Dear all,
ETRC is glad to announce that we are ready to start up the registration for the Spring School Session 2012. We will be glad to see you at the sessions that we organize starting with March the 5th till March the 8th. The number of places is limited, so please call us to register.
We have a prolonged session this year. Our American friends, who were at our Spring School last year, are organizing their own two days sessions, on March the 9th and the 10th, 2012. If you want to attend this session too, you will also have to register.

We are glad to invite you to take part in the events that we organize, both for teachers and students this week.

On Thursday, October the 27, we planned a seminar and the Halloween Party.

On Friday, October the 28th, we plan a special FACE Club meeting during which we will have the Halloween party with the Five-Rounds Halloween Contest.

The guest speakers for these 2 events are Mat and Brynn Adamson, USA Fulbright-s.

We are planning to have the costumes' contest so don't forget to bring your costumes with you and also bring some snacks so that we could celebrate Halloween!!!

Friday, October the 21st, 2011 we will have our usual FACE Club meeting, at 14.00.

The Meeting will be dedicated to music. The topic of the discussion will be "MUSIC - AN

UNIVERSAL LANGUAGE". If you love music, love singing or can play a musical instrument you

are welcome to participate!

The discussion will be facilitated by the native speakers Mat and Brynn Adamson.

Bring your talent and a guitar (if you have one)!!!

Thursday, September the 29th, 2011 - ETRC seminar - "Motivation strategies in the language classroom - Engage every student". Presented by Vera Tabureanu. The seminar will start at 16.00. All the interested persons are invited to participate.

Friday, September the 30th, 2011, 14.00 - Movie Session.
We are going to watch the hilarious comedy "When Harry met Sally..." with Meg Ryan and Billy Chrystal.
This is a going to be a good opportunity to watch a good movie in English with English subtitles.
All the interested students who want to improve their speaking skills and English teachers are welcome to participate.

We are glad to announce that we are starting the new sessions of FACE Club meetings during this school year.

Dear all,
As the summer vacation has just started, for some of us we would like to have fun together with you. ETRC announces the general public about organizing the American Film Days. The attendees will have the possibility to watch movies in English with English subtitles. You can also take part in a discussion of the movie after watching it. Tuesday, July the 5th at 14.00 - The first movie that we propose is "The Illusionist". A thrilling movie about a supernaturally talented magician.
Wednesday, July the 6th, at 14.00 - The second Movie is going to be "ICE AGE 1"- a hilarious cartoon for all the ages.
Thursday, July the 7th, at 14.00 - The third movie - "Shakespeare in love" - an exciting romantic adventure movie.
Friday, July the 8th, at 14.00- The last movie - " The whole nine yards" - a great comedy for all those who love to laugh.

The Session is presented, mainly, by Peace Corps Volunteers from the USA.
They are glad to share the experience they've gathered with teahers from Moldova.

Contest for Teachers!

ETRC announces the openning of a new contest for teachers.

All the teachers from Moldova are welcome to take part in the new contest.

The contest will start on September, the 20th and it will end on January the 20th.

All you have to do is make a plan and announce ETRC that you'd like to take part in the contest via e-mail. After that you'll have to come to ETRC and present the lesson here, at ETRC, when it's the most convenient for you. Your "pupils" will be the teachers who will come to your lesson. At the end of your lesson the "pupils-teachers" will have to complete a feed-back form to appreaciate your lesson.

When the contest will be over the winner will be determined by vote.

The winner will get valuable prizes plus an APLE diploma.

You can become the WINNER!!! All You have to do is participate!!!

ETRC announces a contest for Students.

ETRC invites you to take part in the contest "The Best Story-telling".

For that you have to make a presentation of a story that happned to you. You are free to choose the way of presentation.

Your Presentation may be done in Power-Point, or with the help of Movie Maker, etc.

The most imaginative and creative presentation will be appreciated by the Face Club members.

To take part in the contest you have to:

1. Contact ETRC via e-mail or phone and announce us that you want to take part in the contest;

2. Come to ETRC and present you story at the Face Club.

The contest will Start on September the 20th, 2010 and will end on the January the 20th, 2011.

All the Students are welcome to participate.

EXTENDED DEADLINE – February, the 21^st, 2011.

Christmas Contest.

This is going to be a Christmas Contest: "A Letter for Santa."
ETRC invites you to come, with your letter on December the 24th, at 14.00, to our Christmas Party.
You'll have the possibility to read your letter so that all the people present could appreciate it. The person who'll read the most original and outstanding letter will get ETRC special Christmas prize.

On the 26th of November, at FACE Club we'll be waiting for a group of students with a movie, power-point presentation or short theater play about Thanksgiving. This should be a story about the history of Thanksgiving (how did Thanksgiving appear).
